Long grass in Madiba Park becomes a hotspot for crime and rape
Police are searching for men. believed to be foreign nationals, who they believe are responsible for several crimes committed in the bushes between Madiba and Luthuli Park.
POLOKWANE – The call for foreign nationals to leave Seshego is being resuscitated following months of silence, after several victims recently accused three foreign nationals of rape, robbery and murder in Seshego.
Police confirmed that on February 24, men who spoke in a language believed to be Shona robbed two women (25 and 30 years old), raped one of them and went on to attack motorists who stopped to rescue the victims by seriously injuring the other and hacking one of them to death at 20:45.

Meanwhile, last Friday, a girl was raped by three men in the same spot after school hours, while a man in his 20s was also recently robbed of his belongings and axed to death at around 17:00 in the same area.
“The victims all describe the same people as the perpetrators,” a source close to the investigation told Bonus.
Polokwane Municipality has in the meantime cut the grass in most areas, including at the suspected crime scene, although no traces of evidence were found.

Police spokesperson Col Malesela Ledwaba requested for community assistance in nabbing the suspects as the police investigations continue. He asked that they contact the nearest police station, crime stop number 08600 10111 or send a message via MySAPSApp.
Meanwhile, many concerned locals have voiced their concern over their safety, following the Zimbabwean national, Themba Duba, having been found guilty of the rape and murder of several women in the area.
The police have confirmed several cases currently being investigated.
