Limpopo family stranded as fire guts 10-roomed house
A fire rapidly spread through the Sebola family's house in Tshiozwi with damage estimated at R1m.
LIMPOPO – The Sebola family in Tshiozwi was left devastated after a fire gutted their 10-room house last Monday.
The incident has left the family homeless, and the owner, Simon Sebola says they have now fallen into difficult times.
“The fire quickly spread through the entire house, destroying everything. We even lost a vehicle in the fire, as well as all our important documents. This was an unpleasant Easter for my family. We do not even have a decent place to stay or food.”

According to Sebola, he was informed of the fire by his neighbours.
“I will leave it to law enforcement to do their investigations, luckily no one was around when the fire started, and we have only God to thank for protecting us.”
He estimated the damage at more than R1m, and appealed to good samaritans who could assist the family.
The provincial police spokesperson, Brig Motlafela Mojapelo confirmed the incident and said an investigation was underway.
