Blood donor centres extend operating hours to build stock

Blood donor centres will be open until 19:00 between October 23 and November 3 to accommodate those who work late.

POLOKWANE – It is a known fact that there is a larger chance of a blood shortage during the festive season as more accidents occur and fewer people donate blood.

The SANBS has therefore extended the hours you can donate blood at the Polokwane Donor Centre as well as the Mokopane Donor Centre from October 23 to November 3.

Both donor centres will be open until 19:00 to accommodate those who work later and to get ahead with collecting blood and building up the stock levels.
