POLOKWANE – Close to 300 patrons joined the elderly at the Ons Tuiste retirement home in Polokwane for a day of fun and entertainment on Saturday, to raise money for the improvement of the facility for infrastructure among other needs.

According to organiser Wilma Prinsloo, they were treated to a mouthwatering breakfast and several stalls where they could sell plants, sweets and clothes in the company of family members.

Biker groups from around Limpopo, and Pietersburg Rotary 100 among other clubs, supported the annual event and Prinsloo said they hoped to surpass last year’s record in terms of guests and proceeds.
“We care about the well-being of the elderly and always find better ways to improve their living spaces. This is one way of ensuring that,” she explained.
