Sapa Yopa MC look ahead as they welcome new president

Newly elected president Antonio Pico Santana Martins said the club will continue to do charity work all over South Africa and will keep pushing for sponsorship in all areas possible.

POLOKWANE – Antonio Pico Santana Martins was elected as president of the Sapa Yopa Motorcycle Club on Saturday during the club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at Lifestyle Entertainment.

Martins was elected ahead of Peter Stuff Only Moloto for the coveted spot and Sapa Yopa MCC now will have him as the only national president.

He is also the road captain in the ABC biking council, and conducts Africa tours for biking events every year.

Martins said as a biker, there is nothing more important than brotherhood.

“Sapa Yopa is a very big brand and there is much to be done and rectified. It is the biggest black biking club in Africa and we must make sure we advocate for bikers all over the world. We must work as a team and support all biker clubs in all their events.”

He said he believes in his team and has a very strong executive committee.

“Sapa Yopa will continue to do charity work all over South Africa and we will keep pushing for sponsorship in all areas possible. Putting family first has helped Sapa Yopa grow even stronger and we are able to conquer any challenge through God who strengthens us. We are living our dreams of cultural diversity with a membership that includes blacks, Indians, coloureds, and whites,” he added.

Asked about Sapa Yopa’s plans, he told BONUS that he hopes the club will increase its branding through offices and embroidery machines so that they can sell merchandise.

“As the biggest motorcycle club in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region, we make sure that our members are honoured for their generous contributions to the team,” he said.

President: Antonio Pico Santana Martins.

Vice president: Peter Stuff Only Moloto.

Secretary general: Anele Miss May May.

Deputy secretary: Nyiko Rafiki Baloyi.

National road captain: Ally Bra Ally Teka.

Seargent at arm: Ebrahim Bra D Kekana.

Public relation officer: Alphy Alphy Mamabolo.

Treasurer: Zozo MJ Mokonyama.
