Join Parents with a Purpose for effective parenting advice

Dorcus Maphalle, organiser of the support group for parents of children with special needs, invites parents for an insightful event.

POLOKWANE – The organiser of Parents with a Purpose, Dorcus Maphalle invites parents to their support group prepared especially for parents of children living with special needs. The event is to be held at the Boiketlo Primary School hall in Seshego Zone 3 on May 18.

Topics that will be covered along with solutions include, frustration over managing your child’s learning and behavioural challenges at home; accurate information on how to advocate for and support your child at school; a better understanding of your child and improving your connection with them; finding a balance in your children’s school and home life; and joining a community of parents who share this experience.

The keynote speaker of the day will be inclusive education specialist, Prof Dikeledi Mahlo.

The event will start at 10:00 and finish at 13:00.

“We would love to see parents there so that we can help each other for a better future for our children,” Maphalle said.
