Thunderstorms possible in Polokwane this week

Mild to cool temperatures are also expected in Polokwane this week with maximum temperatures ranging between the low to mid twenties. 

POLOKWANE – You might want to keep an umbrella nearby this week as there are possible thunderstorms forecast for the city.

According to AccuWeather’s forecast, thunderstorms are likely on Tuesday afternoon with a 41% chance of rain in the city from around 13:00 onward.

Mild to cool temperatures are also expected in Polokwane this week with maximum temperatures ranging between the low to mid twenties.

Tuesday will be the coolest day of the week at a high of 22ºC, while Friday will warm up to 27ºC.

Partly cloudy conditions will persist throughout the first half of the week before clearing from Thursday to bring sunny conditions to the city.

A mild to warm weekend can be expected with temperatures ranging between 26ºC on Saturday and Sunday and 27ºC on Friday.

Plenty of sunshine has been forecast.

The likelihood of rain will range between 25% to 41% this week with majority of the rain expected between Monday and Wednesday.

Minimum temperatures continue to drop as winter begins to creep in with lows of between 7ºC and 13ºC expected this week.
