Phuti’s mission to feed disadvantaged children

The Letago Larena Drop-in Centre provides meals, homework help, and support to disadvantaged children and adults.

POLOKWANE – Spread love and kindness by helping the Letago Larena Drop-in Centre to provide nourishing meals to children in need.

The centre, located in Seshego Zone 6 was founded by Phuti ‘Ms Blu’ Moseri in 2021.

Always passionate about community development and giving back, Moseri saw the need to establish the centre which helps children from disadvantaged homes.

She is running a food drive where she requests donations of canned food, fruit and vegetables and fresh meat.

“Imagine the smiles you will create by providing nourishing meals to children who are facing difficult times,” she said.

The centre is a safe space for children to go to after school, where they are assisted with homework and also attend holiday programmes.

Although with a special focus on children, it also offers assistance to adults in dire need.

The centre is open weekdays from 08:00 to 17:00 and has many programmes that develop children academically and socially.

Not only do the learners receive a healthy meal, but they also learn a lot at the centre. Donations can be dropped off at 8149 Freedom Drive, Seshego Zone 6.

Other than donations, volunteers are welcome to assist at the centre to ensure that the children have the best experience through smooth running of the centre.
