Biathle-Kampioenskappe ‘n reuse sukses

Die Limpopo Biathlekampioenskappe sport behels ‘n kombinasie van hardloop, swem en weer hardloop.

MOKOPANE – Die Limpopo Biathlekampioenskappe is verlede Saterdag by Hoërskool Piet Potgieter aangebied. Dié sport behels ‘n kombinasie van hardloop, swem en weer hardloop.

Die Potties-atlete behaal goeie plekke.

Dries Roodt van die CVO Skool Potgietersrus neem deel in die o/11-kategorie en behaal ‘n goue medalje. Avah Smit en Emma-Lee Claasen van Laerskool Krugerpark neem ook deel in die o/11-kategorie: Smit behaal ‘n eerste plek en dit besorg aan haar ‘n goue medalje.

Kort op haar hakke is Claasen in die tweede plek met ‘n silwer medalje.

Drie atlete van Hoërskool Piet Potgieter neem ook deel en behaal goeie plekke: Petri Grobler neem deel in die o/15-kategorie en wen ‘n goue medalje. Micke Prinsloo (o/17) behaal goud terwyl Gerard Kruger (o/18) ook goud wen.

Al die atlete kwalifiseer vir die Suid-Afrikaanse kampioenskappe wat vanaf 9-10 Augustus in Oos-Londen gehou gaan word.
