Wet week ahead for Polokwane

Polokwane is bracing for a week of thunderstorms and showers, with fluctuating temperatures expected to prevail over the city.

POLOKWANE – A stormy weather pattern is expected in over Polokwane for the majority of the week, with temperatures fluctuating between the mid- to late twenties.

On Monday, residents can expect thundershowers in scattered areas, with a high temperature of 23°C.

As the week progresses, temperatures will rise. Tuesday will reach 27°C, accompanied by cloudy conditions, a couple of showers, and a thunderstorm. Wednesday will see a high of 28°C, with cloudy skies and thunderstorms.

A slight reprieve from the rain is expected on Thursday, with mostly cloudy conditions and a high of 24°C.

Friday will bring a mix of sunshine and clouds, with passing showers and a temperature of 25°C.

The weekend is expected to be mostly cloudy on Saturday, with a high of 27°C, while Sunday will see mostly sunny skies and a high of 28°C.

Evening temperatures will range between 15°C and 18°C.
