Thunderstorms expected in Polokwane this week

Residents can expect thunderstorms, cloudy skies, and temperatures in the mid to high twenties throughout the week.

POLOKWANE – After a stretch of warm weather, residents can expect a week of slightly cooler temperatures and intermittent thunderstorms.

On Monday the city will experience considerable cloudiness with a high of 26°C and a chance of thunderstorms in parts of the area. Tuesday will bring similar conditions, with a maximum of 25°C and morning thunderstorms expected before mostly cloudy skies take over.

By Wednesday conditions will improve slightly, with the temperature reaching a comfortable 24°C and periods of clouds and sunshine. On Thursday another round of morning thunderstorms is forecast, followed by mostly cloudy conditions and temperatures climbing to 28°C.

Heading into the weekend, Friday will bring cloudy weather with a few thundershowers and a high of 27°C. Saturday and Sunday will see similar conditions with a high of 28°C and morning thundershowers, followed by cloudy skies for the rest of the day.
