Polokwane Oval Racers ignite the track at Valentine Speed Race

Looking ahead, the club has ambitious plans, including the possibility of hosting the National Hotrod Tour and bringing UK drivers to Polokwane for future races.

POLOKWANE – Polokwane Oval Racing revved up the excitement with their first race of the year, the Valentine Speed Race, held on Saturday.

The event aimed to inspire more oval drivers to build their cars and join the club, creating a stronger racing community.

Fans turned out in large numbers to support and cheer for their favourite racers, adding to the thrilling atmosphere on the track.

“We are very thankful for the support we received from both drivers and spectators. We really had fun, and we hope to grow the club together while enjoying ourselves,” said club member Susan van Jaarsveldt.
