Collins Chabane welcomes new senior manager

Collins Chabane Mayor congratulates Daphney Moselankoe on her appointment as senior manager for corporate services.

LIMPOPO – Collins Chabane Mayor Gezane Shadrack Maluleke has extended his congratulations to Daphney Pfanani Moselankoe on her appointment as the senior manager for corporate services.

“It is an honour and a pleasure to congratulate you on this well-deserved appointment,” Maluleke said. “We trust that you will lead with diligence and continue to strengthen our municipality. The residents of Collins Chabane Local Municipality deserve an administration that is committed to quality service delivery, good governance, and accountability.”

Moselankoe joined the municipality in 2018 as the audit manager. She started her career as an internal auditor at Pricewaterhouse Coopers in 2008 and later held key positions, including senior state accountant at the Department of Agriculture and senior performance auditor at the Thulamela Municipality.

Her academic background includes a master’s degree in business administration, a postgraduate diploma in internal audit, a postgraduate diploma in risk management, and several other qualifications in accounting, business management, and municipal finance.

She is also a certified internal audit technician (IAT) and certified professional internal auditor (PIA), and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Wits University.

Reflecting on her appointment, Moselankoe stressed her commitment to upholding professionalism and the Batho Pele principles in municipal governance.

“This role comes with a profound responsibility to drive efficient and effective governance while ensuring sustainable service delivery. Our goal is to build a spatially integrated and sustainable local economy by 2030.”
