Polokwane to see more stormy weather

Polokwane will see early-week afternoon thunderstorms give way to calmer conditions by the weekend.

POLOKWANE – Temperatures around the mid to late twenties will bring shifting weather, scattered thunderstorms, and periods of sunshine shaping the forecast.

Monday starts with partly cloudy conditions, gradually building to afternoon thunderstorms in some areas. Temperatures will rise to a warm 28°C before cooling to 18°C overnight.

Tuesday offers a mix of sunshine and clouds and a high of 29°C, but expect an afternoon thunderstorm to roll in.

Midweek brings more unsettled conditions, as Wednesday will see a high of 27°C, a blend of sun and clouds, with thunderstorms once again expected in the afternoon.

Thursday follows a similar pattern, with intervals of sunshine and cloud cover before thunderstorms develop later in the day. Temperatures will peak at 26°C before dropping to 16°C overnight.

By Friday, expect a cooler high of 24°C as the stormy trend begins to ease, but a few spot thunderstorms remain possible.

The weekend looks more settled, with Saturday and Sunday both bringing pleasant weather, featuring clouds and sunshine with a comfortable high of 25°C.
