Fraud and vehicle theft charges added to SABC Livhu’s rap sheet
Livhuwani Madadzhe is accused of posing as an agent for car rental companies on social media and fraudulently offering vehicles for hire.

LIMPOPO – Limpopo comedian Livhuwani Madadzhe, popularly known as ‘SABC Livhu’, appeared before the Thohoyandou Magistrate’s Court last Wednesday, facing charges of vehicle theft and fraud.
According to the charge sheet, Madadzhe rented a luxury vehicle, and had hired vehicles from multiple rental companies over time.

Additionally, he apparently posed as an agent for car rental companies on social media, fraudulently offering vehicles for hire.
Limpopo NPA regional spokesperson Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi confirmed that Madadzhe is also on trial in the Thohoyandou High Court (sitting at the Waterval Magistrate’s Court) for murder and two counts of fraud.
He is accused of murdering his wife, Lindelani Nengovhela (32), and disposing of her body at their homestead.

He is also said to have lied about his mother’s death and death certificate to fraudulently claim a funeral policy payout.
At the time of these alleged offences, Madadzhe was out on R50 000 bail under strict conditions, which included no interference with state witnesses, no further criminal activities and reporting to the Sandton Police Station every Monday and Friday between 08:00 and 16:00.
Malabi-Dzhangi confirmed that the case has been postponed to March 18 for bail application on the charges of theft and fraud, while his High Court trial was set to continue on March 17.
