PCS maintenance manager tackling challenges
Joseph Motsieng tackles daily challenges, refines his skills, and balances work with his passion for fatherhood and soccer.

POLOKWANE – Joseph Motsieng (36) is the dedicated maintenance manager at Pietersburg Comprehensive School (PCS).
For the past 10 years, he has played a crucial role in ensuring the school remains in excellent condition. His job keeps him constantly busy, tackling various repairs and upkeep tasks.
Since joining PCS, Joseph has discovered and refined many of his skills. “My job can be challenging. Some things aren’t easy to fix, and I sometimes need to take a step back to figure them out. But that’s what makes it special. Every day is different, and I enjoy facing new challenges,” he shared.
Looking ahead, Joseph hopes to earn a plumbing certification, a field that fascinates him. Outside of work, he is a passionate soccer player and a skilled striker, often playing or watching games at the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex. Though he began playing at 13, he never pursued it as a career – but it has always been a hobby.
Above all, Joseph is a devoted single father who lives for his two children. He finds great joy in parenthood and credits fatherhood with teaching him responsibility.
