Limpopo artist rises to RnB stardom
With consecutive nominations for best soul and RnB artist, LadyTiana is making waves in the scene, with a debut EP set for release in June.
LIMPOPO – Hailing from the dusty village of Tshidimbini, Faith Tshisebe – better known as LadyTiana – has always been deeply connected to her musical roots.
Her passion for music took shape in childhood, performing in talent shows during church youth conferences as early as 2009.
But it was the release of her debut single ‘Mufunwa ndi ene’ at the age of 20 that officially marked her entry into the music industry.
In 2016, LadyTiana made her live performance debut at the Fill Up Mukula event hosted by Papa Thile, followed by a performance at Love Nests.
These early gigs played a key role in shaping her stage presence and rocketing her ambition to pursue music professionally.
Her journey is anchored in memories of singing alongside youth members at church and drawing inspiration from global icons such as Rihanna and Beyoncé.
A pivotal moment came during a church concert where she experienced a powerful connection with the audience, solidifying her desire to become a professional artist.
Over the years, LadyTiana has worked with various artists, including 2idiots of House, Lunar, Stoner, Wu Kid, Meskay, Owi Jayson, Romeo Thagreatwhite, Facebreezy, and PH Uknow.
Her growing influence in the industry has earned her nominations for best soul and RnB artist at Mama24 and Mama25.
She has also graced notable stages, including the Sneaker Festival hosted by Ndika and the birthday celebration of artist Killer B.
Looking ahead, LadyTiana is preparing to release her debut EP in June, which she said will introduce a new sound and style.
She envisions herself becoming a prominent artist in the next five to 10 years, building a strong fan base, collaborating with major names, and exploring fresh musical themes.
She remains dedicated to personal growth, attending music workshops and staying updated on industry trends.
Prioritising her mental and physical health through exercise, meditation and therapy, she also values relationships and giving back to her community through volunteering and social causes.
