Support Polokwane’s Bibberdag Winter Project
Property Connect’s Bibberdag Winter Project aims to support 300 homeless people with essentials, meals, and dignity.
POLOKWANE – Property Connect is calling on the local community to support its annual Bibberdag Winter Project, set to take place on May 31 at Zurel Training Academy from 07:00-15:00.
The initiative will provide over 300 homeless people with essential winter items, warm meals, hot showers and clean clothing – offering much-needed relief and dignity during the cold season.
“This isn’t just an event, it’s a powerful act of humanity,” says Tumi Ramatlhodi, national marketing manager of Property Connect. “We want each person to feel seen, valued and cared for. The day is about restoring dignity.”
The project is hosted in collaboration with Heartdrive Projects NPC, Kosmos Angels Polokwane, Buurtwag, and Zurel Training Academy. Beyond immediate support, the event also aims to connect those present with rehabilitation programmes and long-term support services.
“We’re creating a ripple of hope. This is a chance to stand together, honour the unseen, and remind our community that compassion still thrives,” Ramatlhodi said.
Those who wish to contribute, whether through donations of clothes, food, or funds, are encouraged to get in touch and help to make the day a success.
