Jabez dominates majorette event in Mokopane

Jabez triumphs at the Krugerpark Primary competition, winning every category they entered with standout performances.

POLOKWANE – Jabez Christian Academy stole the show at a development competition hosted by Krugerpark Primary School in Mokopane last Saturday, winning every category they entered.

The event, organised by the Limpopo Majorette and Cheerleading Association, brought together schools from across the province, including Warriors Seniors, Sterkies Wolves, SJ Thunders, Little Bedfordview Primary, Johannes Masibe, Dr Dixon Mphahlele, PEPPS Mokopane, Potgietersrus Titans and others.

Jabez dominated in the large baton classic, large baton stage, large flag, and large drill categories.

The school’s performance was led by standout team leader Nndondote Maswevhe, who was named the overall first-place winner in the large drill round.

Certificates were awarded at a prize-giving ceremony later that afternoon. Principal Elana Erasmus applauded the girls’ efforts.

“Well done to all the girls for their hard work. Keep it up. I’m proud of you all.”

Jabez is now preparing to compete again at their next event, which is on May 10 at PCS, where they will showcase their skills in the small drill, pom/non-prop and mace categories.
