Mitchell House hosted their annual u/19 winter sports festival on Saturday, with players participating in soccer and netball.

Local schools, as well as those from other provinces like North West’s Rabboni Christian School, had learners participating on the day.

Dimakatso Mokgoale, the college sports coordinator at Mitchell House, said the day also saw the Black Leopards Academy’s u/19 team participate.

“The turnout was good and the festival is growing annually. We are looking to expand it and make use of all our sports facilities to facilitate it even better.”

The management from Sekhukhune United FC gave the opening address and offered match tickets to the winners of the day. The top three teams and the best netball player and best soccer player of the day also received medals.
