Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.

As a result, one lane of the N1 North between Mokopane and Polokwane remains closed, with traffic being diverted via the R101.

Transport spokesperson Tidimalo Chuene said law enforcement officers are currently on the scene directing traffic and monitoring congestion while recovery operations are underway.

“Motorists travelling from Mokopane towards Polokwane are advised to use the R101 as an alternative route and to exercise caution. The road is expected to remain partially closed until the truck and debris are cleared,” her statement read.
