LIMPOPO – The provincial police commissioner, Lt Gen Thembi Hadebe, has ordered a full-scale investigation into the brutal murder of an 11-year-old boy who was found dead at his home in Mapuve village, Giyani, on Sunday (November 16).
The Limpopo police spokesperson Col Malesela Ledwaba said the officers were directed to a room in the house on arrival and found a child lying in a pool of blood.
“The victim had a deep open wound to the neck and was wrapped in a blanket. Emergency medical services were summoned but pronounced the child dead on the scene. The identity of the deceased has been withheld,” his statement read.
