Stormy weather continues for Polokwane

Polokwane faces a cloudy, storm-filled week with heavy thunderstorms, cooler temperatures, and scattered rain expected throughout.

POLOKWANE – Residents can expect a mostly cloudy and stormy week ahead, with several days of rain and cooler temperatures on the way.

Monday brings the most intense conditions, with heavy afternoon thunderstorms capable of producing flooding downpours, hail, and strong gusts. Temperatures will reach around 27°C before dropping overnight.

On Tuesday, the air cools further to a high of 23°C, with cloudy skies and the chance of a thundershower in some areas. Light rain may linger into Wednesday morning, followed by a mostly cloudy afternoon and a high near 26°C.

Thursday remains cloudy but warmer, reaching about 28°C before dipping again on Friday.

Friday is expected to bring occasional morning rain and a thunderstorm, keeping conditions noticeably cooler at around 24°C.

Scattered thunderstorms could return on Saturday morning, with the day remaining cloudy and temperatures climbing to about 26°C.

Sunday closes the week with more cloud cover and the likelihood of an afternoon thunderstorm, keeping temperatures steady at around 26°C.
