Thohoyandou pastor proves education has no age limit

Pastor Cedrick Mulaudzi, 58, graduates from a year-long computer course in Thohoyandou, urging others to embrace learning at any age.

LIMPOPO – The saying ‘Education has no age limit’ proved true for the 58-year-old local clergyman Pastor Cedrick Mulaudzi, who was among the 76 students graduating from Mveledzo Computer Training Academy at Managa Complex in Thohoyandou after completing a year-long computer training programme.

“I am 58 years old, and I am passionate about learning. I am also pursuing a master’s degree in theology at the University of Venda (Univen). I found this computer training relevant, as it introduces you to the world of technology.

“These skills are important globally. We are in the fourth industrial revolution, and other countries are far ahead of us,” said Mulaudzi.

He encouraged everyone interested in learning to join in 2026: “Age doesn’t matter when it comes to gaining knowledge. Anything is possible, whether you are young or old.”

The managing director of Mveledzo Computer Training, Rinae Ndou, said the academy stands out for its tailored courses, hands-on approach, and strong industry partnerships.

“We focus on equipping students with in-demand skills to ensure they’re job-ready upon graduation. Students also gain practical experience at schools and other institutions, which often leads to job opportunities. We also teach essential job-search skills, including CV writing and interview techniques,” said Ndou.
