Parts of Polokwane to face four-hour power outage

Parts of Polokwane will experience a planned power outage on Tuesday from 08:00 to 12:00 for line maintenance.

POLOKWANE – Residents and businesses in several parts of Polokwane will experience a planned electricity interruption on Tuesday (January 27), as municipal teams carry out maintenance on a power line.

Municipal spokesperson Thipa Selala says the outage is required to allow technicians to safely remove trees encroaching on the high-voltage power line.

The interruption is scheduled to take place from 08:00 to 12:00, with the work expected to last four hours.
