Noddy Creche hosts annual career day

Noddy's learners dressed up as professionals and explored different careers through fun roleplaying activities.

POLOKWANE – On Friday, Noddy Playground Creche & Preschool hosted its annual career day, giving young learners the opportunity to explore a variety of professions.

The event forms part of the school’s yearly activities and aims to introduce children to different careers in a fun and engaging way.

Learners dressed up as professionals from a range of fields and took part in role-playing activities.

The school’s principal, Leonné Herrendoërfer, said the initiative helps spark early curiosity about future career possibilities.

“It builds confidence and empathy through roleplaying and gives the children the opportunity to dress up,” she said.

According to Herrendoërfer, the activity helps learners gain a sense of what people in different professions wear and do.

“They get a feel of what the dress code will be in the profession that they might choose,” she added.
