Mono said he wanted to support learners growing up in poverty, ensuring they have access to basic necessities like school shoes.

He also encouraged them to stay motivated in their studies, reminding them that education is the key to shaping their future and improving their community.

Teacher Phuti Morwana praised Mono for giving back to his roots.

“You have done such a great thing. The children can have their dignity back.

“There are many schools you could have chosen, but you chose your own,” she said.

Phuti Barastian Semenya is the programme director for the day.

New sales consultant Thabo Ramabi expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and encouraged learners to continue their education.

“We wish you all the best from the Westvaal group.

“Work hard in school so you too can give back to your community one day,” he said.
