PEPPS hosts Colour Burst Bash to raise funds for upgrades

PEPPS hosts third annual Colour Burst Bash fun run, bringing the school community together to raise funds for infrastructure upgrades.

POLOKWANE – PEPPS College hosted its third annual Colour Burst Bash fun run/walk on Saturday, bringing together learners, staff and the wider school community for a vibrant day of activity.

The event combined fun and fitness, with participants taking part in a colourful run inspired by the popular Color Run South Africa.

School counsellor and event organiser Minky Masote said the initiative is linked to the school’s running club and serves a greater purpose beyond recreation.

“The Colour Burst Bash isn’t just about exercise and good vibes, it’s also a fundraiser. Through this event, we were able to bring the school community together while raising money to upgrade our infrastructure,” she said.

Basetsana Teffo, Kylie Mitchell and Lesego Maifo are part of the fun.

Preparations for the event began at the end of January, with organisers introducing additional activities this year, including aerobics sessions and a sing-off for participants.

Masote expressed appreciation to the PEPPS community for its continued support.

“To our sponsors, thank you for contributing to a good cause. To our staff members, we appreciate the dedication and time given over the weekend. Our learners, as well as the spirit and media committees, thank you for the hard work before and during the event,” she said.
