Platform for talent development

The tournament, which takes place every year, provides schools with an opportunity to develop and showcase their players.

Recognition of player dedication

Team manager Angel Seshotela said the school entered the competition in recognition of the dedication shown by the u/17 players.

With support from parents, both the u/17 and u/15 teams were able to attend the tournament.

Seshotela said she was proud of the players’ efforts, noting their determination and competitive spirit throughout the matches.

Pressure ahead of circuit league

She added that the team’s success brings added pressure as they prepare for the upcoming circuit league.

“This win comes with a lot of pressure because the circuit league is coming up and they have to maintain the standard they have set. It brings expectations, and we need to match those standards,” she said.

Focus and determination remain

Despite this, Seshotela said the team is responding well and remains focused on maintaining its performance levels.

She continues to encourage the players to stay composed under pressure and remain motivated.

“They are working hard and are determined to prove that their win was well deserved,” she said.
