Polokwane temperatures drop before a warm weekend

Polokwane is set for a cooler, cloudy midweek with temperatures hovering in the lower twenties, before a sunny and warm weekend.

POLOKWANE – Residents in Polokwane can expect a noticeable cool-down over the coming days after Monday’s warm weather, with temperatures dropping by nearly 10 degrees before warmer weather returns for the weekend.

After reaching a high of 31°C on Monday, temperatures are forecast to peak at 29°C on Tuesday under partly sunny skies.

Conditions will cool significantly from Wednesday, with a high of 22°C and considerable cloudiness expected across the city.

Thursday is set to remain overcast and slightly cooler, with daytime temperatures reaching only 21°C.

The cooler spell, however, is not expected to last long. Sunshine is forecast to return on Friday, when temperatures climb back to 25°C after a cloudy start to the day.

Warmer and mostly sunny weather is then expected over the weekend, with 27°C on Saturday and 26°C on Sunday.

No significant rainfall is currently expected during the week.
