Water outage affecting parts of Polokwane City and Seshego clusters

A pipeline leak has forced Lepelle Northern Water to stop the PS3 pumps, causing water outages in parts of Polokwane City and Seshego.

POLOKWANE – Polokwane Municipality has announced a water supply interruption affecting parts of the City and Seshego clusters following the temporary shutdown of the PS3 pumps.

According to the municipality, Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) stopped the pumps after detecting a leak on the pipeline after the Palmiet Reservoir.

Repairs underway

LNW has commenced repair arrangements and anticipates that the repairs will take approximately six hours.

The duration may, however, be subject to the progress of the repair work and prevailing site conditions.
