Warm week ahead for Polokwane, with rain possible

Polokwane can expect a warm start to the week before cloud and the possibility of showers and thunderstorms increase towards the weekend.

POLOKWANE – Polokwane is set for a mostly warm and sunny week, with temperatures reaching the high 20s before a chance of rain arrives towards the weekend.

Monday will bring partly cloudy conditions and sunshine, with a high of 28°C and a low of 9°C.

Temperatures will climb slightly on Tuesday and Wednesday, with both days expected to reach 29°C. Conditions will be hazy and sunny, with overnight lows of around 10°C.

Thursday will remain warm at 28°C, with hazy sunshine and a low of 14°C.

The weather is expected to change on Friday, with mostly cloudy conditions and a passing shower or two possible. The temperature will reach 27°C, with a low of 13°C. There is an 85% chance of precipitation.

Saturday should bring a return to mostly sunny and pleasant conditions, with a high of 26°C and a low of 12°C.

Sunday will be partly sunny, although a thunderstorm is possible in spots during the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to reach 27°C, with a low of 13°C and a 55% chance of precipitation.
