The Limpopo Blue Bulls u/21 Absa competition team proved to be a force to be reckoned with when they played against the Gauteng Falcons at the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex on Saturday.
Limpopo Blue Bulls won 48-10.
The home side started the match with determination and enjoyed a 22-7 lead by half-time.
The Falcons’ only change of any points came in the second half from a penalty kick.
In total, seven tries were scored by Limpopo Blue Bulls.
Their strong performance will boost their confidence when they face the Griquas in Kimberley on Saturday.
The try scorers for Limpopo Blue Bulls were Divan Nel, Graham Logan, Jonty Shelton, Pieter Kruger (x2 tries) and Primo Ncube. Place kicker for this side, Marcel Scholtz was successful with five conversions and one penalty kick.

The Limpopo Blue Bulls u/19 team lost to the Falcons in the B-division of the Absa competition, which was also played at the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex on Saturday.
Two yellow cards in the 56th minute and in the 60th minute cost the Limpopo Blue Bulls the match, with the Falcons scoring two tries to win 32-18.
The team will face the Griquas in Kimberley on Saturday, with their match starting at 13:00.
The try scores for Limpopo Blue Bulls were Stephanus Smith and Zander Richter. Casper du Plessis was successful with a conversion and a penalty, while Wade Worthington kicked another penalty.
