Rally action to hit Polokwane soon

There are only 29 days before the national rally championships heads to the city to conclude the penultimate round of the championships series on October 18 and 19, with the 2013 Polokwane Motor Rally.

Previously the rallys started on a Saturday, but this year it starts on a Friday.

A total of 11 special stages are planned for the competitors with an approximate total rally distance of 420km.

The rally headquarters will be at the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex and starts at 12:00, with the second rally day starting at 06:00.

The Polokwane Motor Rally was initiated by Polokwane mayor, Freddy Greaver in 2011 with the intention of making the city a well-known sporting hub.
