Spinning wins him gold

PETROL head and spinner, Hamoo "The Rasta" Kuber flew the Limpopo flag high

PETROL head and spinner, Hamoo “The Rasta” Kuber flew the Limpopo flag high when he participated in the Msinga Drifting and Spinning Tournament in Durban last Saturday.

Hamoo beat more than 25 drivers with his stunts and was awarded a gold trophy and R10 000, which he said he would use to keep his car in good condition.

He said he was proud to be the only driver from Limpopo and to represent the province so well.

“It always feels good to represent the province and do well,” Hamoo said.

He said his win showed that Limpopo was a province of winners.

Hamoo, who is also a biker and belongs to Sapa Yopa Motorcyle Club said he started spinning cars at a very early age and was motivated by the fact that spinning was now a recognised sport.

“The victory in Durban shows that I can enter any competition in the world.”

Asked how he beat his competitors, Hammo said practise and being determined helped.

Hammo is looking for sponsorship and those who are interested in assisting can contact him at 071 128 6074.
