Polokwane Athletic Club will host its first event of the year, the fifth edition of the Seeff Properties Road Race
Polokwane Athletic Club will host its first event of the year, the fifth edition of the Seeff Properties Road Race on Saturday, January 18.
The start and finish of the race will be the offices of Seeff Properties at Platinum Park Shopping Centre and Business Park, situated in General Viljoen Street in Bendor.
The race will start at 07:00.
The race consists of a 5km fun run and a 10km road race.
Polokwane Athletic Club, the organisers of the race say water and cooldrinks will be available every 3km along the route.
Those who finish the race will receive a medal.
Special fifth anniversary T-shirts will also be handed out to the first 250 people who enter the race.
Entries for the race can be done at Seeff Properties’ offices at the Platinum Business Park on Friday, January 17 from 17:00 until 19:00 and on the morning of the race from 06:00 until 06:55.
Entry for the 5km fun run costs R20, while entry for the 10km road race costs R40.
Participants of the 10km race must be in possession of a provincial road race licence.
Temporary licences will be available on race day at a cost of R25.
