Athletes show their mettle
A total of 506 athletes competed in the fifth annual Seeff Road Race, which started at the Platinum Park Business Park last Saturday.
POLOKWANE – A total of 506 athletes competed in the fifth annual Seeff Road Race, which started at the Platinum Park Business Park last Saturday.
According to the organisers of the race, the Polokwane Athletic Club, this was the most entries they had received in the five years of the race’s existence.
The race was run over two distances, 5 km and 10 km, with water and colddrink available every three kilometres along the route.
Athletes who finished the race received a medal, while the first 250 entrants of the race received a special fifth anniversary T-shirt.

“The race went very well, without any incidents,” said Johan Janse van Vuuren of the Polokwane Athletic Club.
