The NMG golf challenge will once again be held every last Wednesday of the month until November, when the overall winner will be announced.

Llewellyn Olivier was second on a total of 40 points during the NMG challenge, with Francois Goosen in third place on a total of 39 points.

The prize for the longest drive for the second hole was awarded to Edwin Mackays and Martin van Onselen won the prize for the golfer nearest to the pin for the 11th hole.

Golfers who scored two-clubs were Raymond Mushaiki, Martin van Onselen, Llewellyn Olivier, Muhammed Aziz, Albert Botha, Jan de Beer, Raoul van Zyl and Bernard Steyn.

1. Johan Geldenhuys – 68 nett points.

2. Thabo Shingange – 70 nett points.

B division:

1. Aaron Segwapa – 68 nett points.

2. Zach Chuenuene – 70 nett points.

C division:

1. Carel de Jager – 71 nett points.

2. Fred Kloppers – 74 nett points.

Women’s A division:

1. Belinda Schutte – 82 nett points.

Women’s B-division:

1 – Koeksie Eager – 84 nett points.

Golfers who scored two-clubs were Thabo Shingange, Corné Olivier, Willie Marx, J.A. Venter, Freek Schutte, Julias Mapatha, Goitsemang Motseki, Jakes Jacobs, Harshan Mistry and Aziz Bava.

The next match at the Polokwane Golf Club is the KFC and PG Glass betterball stableford format match tomorrow (Wednesday).
