Lim softball fanatics in for a treat

LIMPOPO softball fanatics are in for a treat when Limpopo Softball Association hosts the second leg of the Limpopo Softball Association Cup at the Seshego and Moletlane Texas softball diamonds this weekend.

The first-leg matches were played at the University of Limpopo on Sunday.

LSA’s marketing and communications manager, Matome “Dukes” Lebea said apart from the prize money in the tournament, it is also aimed at fine-tuning the players’ skills in preparations for the national champoinships in Cape Town next month.

“This tournament will give our technical team that is headed by Mamphiri Sethosa enough opportunity to assess the players and to try different patterns of play. Based on what I observed during last weekend’s matches, I am confident the boys will be sharp and ready to collect silverware in the national tournament,” Lebea said.
