Baobab Classic: golfers’ magnet this weekend
The Polokwane Golf Club will once again be the host of the Baobab Classic tournament, which starts today (Thursday) and ends on Saturday.
POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Golf Club will once again be the host of the Baobab Classic tournament, which starts today (Thursday) and ends on Saturday.
This is the seventh year the tournament will be hosted by the Polokwane Golf Club.
Thirty-six teams (144 golfers) have already registered for the tournament.
The tournament kicks off with a fourball alliance and Meropa Casino and Entertainment World will sponsor the event.
On day two, Modern Autohaus BMW will sponsor a betterball stableford format.
This day will also host the final of the fourball play-off of the Modern Autohaus Captains Knockout competition.
This competition is an annual event that is held over a six-month period, finishing on the final play-off of the competition on the second day of the Baobab Classic tournament.
The final day of the Baobab Classic tournament will be an individual stableford match and will be sponsored by Polokwane Copiers and Fax.
