Corné Olivier was the winner on 69 nett points, while Pat Molepo was second with a score of 69 nett points on a count-out.

In the men’s B-division, Kobus Marnevick won with a score of 69 nett points.

Second place on 67 nett points went to Jimmy Steele.

The men’s C-division was won by Fanus de Beer on 70 nett points, while second place on 70 nett points on a count-out went to Thomas Mnguni.

Lynette Smith with her tally of 79 nett points was the winner of the women’s A-division.

A number of golfers in the men’s A-division scored two-clubs: Olivier (x2), Piet Bronkhorst scored triple two-clubs, Willie Faver, Fanus de Beer, Francois Hartlief, Dirk Riekert, André Roux, Schalk Dreyer, Sydney Chadwick, Karel Hartlief, Raymie Bava, Ebrahim Hussain and Adam Milanzi.

A betterball stableford format match was played at the Polokwane Golf Club on Wednesday, where Gavin Melville and Colin Craukamp won with a score of 45 points.

Len Olley won prizes for the golfer nearest to the pin for holes four and eight. He also scored a two-club.

Prizes for golfers nearest to the pin went to Julius Mapatha for the 11th hole and Malebane Pataki for the 16th hole.

Golfers who scored two-clubs in this match were Piet Bronkhorst, Morné Myburgh, Fanus de Beer, Jan Gelderman and Goitsemang Motseki.
