City’s athletes to learn all things running during this road show

The Comrades Marathon Association will host the 2014 Comrades road show at the Polokwane Athletic Club clubhouse on Tuesday.

The road show is an ideal opportunity for runners and beginners to gain knowledge and skills about the Comrades Marathon and running in general. Various speakers will share their running knowledge and experiences and training programmes.

The gathering is open to everyone and entry fee is free.

During the road show, runners and athletes can choose to run or walk distances of 4km, 5km and 8km. The races will start at 17:30.

Specialists from Running Inn will be part of the road show to do reviews on athletes’ running shoes. The review is free and is the ideal opportunity to test and ensure participants run or walk in the correct sports shoes.

Runners and walkers are urged to have their sports shoes checked by the specialist from 12:00 to 17:00 .

There will two R250 lucky draw prizes sponsored by the Polokwane Athletic Club.
