POLOKWANE – Limpopo’s Vodacom Cup rugby team, the Assupol Limpopo Blue Bulls are set to play their next fixture on home soil on Saturday at the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex.
The Limpopo Blue Bulls will lock horns with the Steval Pumas from Mpumalanga in what promises to be an interesting match.
Entry to this event is free of charge and Below Zero Fruit Juices will hand out free sachets of frozen fruit juice to the first 1 000 supporters who enter the gates.
The game is scheduled to start at 15:00.
Last Saturday, the Limpopo Blue Bulls played the Falcons in Sasolburg, where they gave their hosts a run for their money in the first half of the game.
The Bulls scored an impressive two tries and finished the first half of the game in the lead with the score 24-14.
Their two tries were scored by left wing Koning Janse van Rensburg and prop Thulani Mathonsi. Andy Huysamen converted both tries.
In the second half of the game, the Falcons took control of the play and eventually won the game 65-14.
