P.K. Casino Club victorious at casino game tourney

Eight casino card game clubs competed in a Meropa Casino and Entertainment World top eight casino card game tournament at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World last Sunday.

P.K. Casino Club was crowned the winner of the tournament with 69 points, Matamanyane Casino Club came in second place with 48 points, while Ga-Piet Casino Club was in third place with 38 points.

The referee, Johannes Tlooke said the tournament went well and that he was impressed with the way the teams played.

“Teams were committed and they all played the games with the aim to win, but unfortunately there could only be one winner,” said Tlooke.

He said there were coordinators during the tournament to ensure the rules of the game were adhered to.

The next casino card game tournament will be held at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World on June 29.
