Action cricket business league starts tonight
The action cricket business league kicks off at the Polokwane Action Sports Arena tonight (Tuesday), after playing warm up matches last week.
POLOKWANE – The action cricket business league kicks off at the Polokwane Action Sports Arena tonight (Tuesday), after playing warm up matches last week.
This league will be played weekly on Tuesdays, and will follow a six-a-side action cricket format.
Businesses will compete against each other for the next eight weeks at 18:00, 19:15 and 20:30 to win the trophy, as well as a cash prize.
“Action sport is a very good way of improving the skills of any given player, as well as team building in a company.
“There are a lot of opportunities in this sport, as there are inter-provincial tournaments which are held annually, where national squads are selected,” said the marketing manager of Action Sports Polokwane, Riaan Els.
