Mitchell girls team win all their games

POLOKWANE – It is natural for a soccer team to win at least one game in a season, but it is unusual for a team to win all their games without one loss or draw in one season.

Mitchell House College’s u/15 girls’ soccer team managed to do just this.

“I am very proud of my girls. They worked very hard to achieve this wonderful achievement,” said their coach, Ray Jansen van Rensburg, last Friday.

Ndzalo Mabunda scored the most goals throughout the soccer season and their goalie, Tebatso Madisha, did an exceptional job to prevent the other teams from scoring, he said.

The school’s u/15 netball team also never lost a match during the netball season earlier this year.
