POLOKWANE – Limpopo Toyota scored a hole in one with a very successful golf day held at Polokwane Golf Club last Thursday.

Toyota Financial Services, the main sponsor of the day, kitted out the golfers in caps and golf T-shirts.

Eighty golfers and Toyota clients teed off in this betterball stableford competition that saw the top nine teams end in three points of each other.

Limpopo Toyota’s Marthinus Beukes (Lexus sales manager), Adri Malan (service manager) and Bennie Cahn (sales manager) presented the winners with their prizes during the prize-giving ceremony.

Theo Allison and Willie Opperman won prizes in the longest drive competition, while Charles du Plessis and Pieter Meiring won prizes in the nearest to the pin competitions.

Nola Pecuer and Sammy Makoti took the overall first place with 46 points on a count-in.

Close behind them in second place were Reon Coetzee and Gerhard Saaiman with 46 points on a count-out.

Danie Bouwer (Sr) and Pieter Fourie took third place in the competition with 46 points on a count-out.

Dawid van der Walt and Morné Myburgh took fourth place with 45 points on a count-in followed by Safraz Sulliman and Azhar Sulliman in fifth place also with 45 points.

Hein Warmenhoven and Raymond Pratt scored 45 points and took sixth place on a count-out followed by Patrick Cahill and Liano Viviers in seventh place with 44 points on a count-in.

Du Plessis and Wynand Pretorius took eighth place with 44 points on a count-out and Duane Viljoen and Andrew Galloway secured ninth place also on 44 points on a count-out.

Myburgh won a golf bag valued at R4 000 in the lucky draw.

The Juba Brothers entertained the golfers with their barnyard style music.
