Tight monthly medal match

POLOKWANE – More than 140 golfers competed in the Mike’s Chicken monthly medal competition on Saturday, December 6.
The competition for this month’s titles was fierce considering that a lot of the competitors of the Limpopo Mid Amateur Open Championship played a practise round before their competition the next day.
Nola Peceur won R2 500 in the jackpot on holes three, six, 12, and 13 drawn by Riaan Nel.
In the A-division, Clifton Stanley took first place with a score of 68 points, followed by Ronnie Peterson also with 68 points on a count-in. Mpho Makhado took third place with 70 points.
In the B-division, Mimezi Dlamini took first place with a score of 65 points followed by Pat Molepo with 66 points. Thys de Kock took third place with 68 points.
Steve Rudd won the C-division with 67 points followed by Schalk Dreyer with 68 points. Carel Haupt took the prize for third place with 68 points.
Belinda Schutte won the women’s silver division with 74 points and Nola Peceur won the women’s bronze division with 69 points.
