Club to host Comrades eve
The Comrades Marathon Association will host the 2015 Comrades road show at the clubhouse of the Polokwane Athletic Club (PAC) on January 29.
POLOKWANE – The Comrades Marathon Association will host the 2015 Comrades road show at the clubhouse of the Polokwane Athletic Club (PAC) on January 29.
The clubhouse is situated at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Various well-known personalities in the world of athletics will talk about their Comrades running experiences, training programmes and other important topics.
The event is free of charge and open to everybody, runners as well as non-runners.
The roadshow is the ideal opportunity for runners, whether beginners or serious competitors, to gain more knowledge and information about the Comrades Marathon and long distance running.
The event will start at 17:30 with the PAC’s weekly time trial.
This trial is open to everybody and runners or walkers can choose to run distances of 4,5 or 8km.
At 18:55 the PAC will introduce the workshop panel. The roadshow will start at 19:00 sharp and last for approximately two hours.
A cash bar will be available before and after the discussion and food will be sold at reasonable prices. The evening will close with two R250 lucky draws that are sponsored by the PAC.
