Golfers enjoy a day on greens
Safraz Suliman and Mohammed Dada won Saturday's Bidvest Betterball Golf Challenge at the Polokwane Golf Club.
POLOKWANE – Safraz Suliman and Mohammed Dada won Saturday’s Bidvest Betterball Golf Challenge at the Polokwane Golf Club.
Suliman and Mohammed accumulated 47 points during the challenge to take the first place, followed by Frans van Zyl and Isak Jacobs with 45 points on a count in.
Charles Mdhluli and Peter Masehela won third place with 45 points on a count out.
Willy Faver and Aart Juriaanse won fourth place with 44 points. Faver was also the jackpot winner and he won R510. Patrick Cahill conducted the draws at the first, fifth, ninth and 14th holes.
Some 75 golfers took part in this golf challenge and there was consensus on the greens that it was a very successful and enjoyable day.
Chris Binneman won the prize for playing nearest to the pin at the eighth hole, while Peter Masehela won the prize for playing nearest to the pin at the 11th hole.
Golfers will gather at the Polokwane Golf Club this Saturday for the Mike’s Chicken Monthly Medal Challenge.
